Land-It is built by skaters, for skaters. We want this to be a place where everyone — from park kids to street legends — can share their sessions, find spots, connect with the community, and celebrate the progression of skateboarding. These guidelines keep the platform safe and the vibes good.
1. Keep It Skate
Land-It is a skateboarding platform. Content should be related to skating — sessions, tricks, spots, events, gear, and the culture around it.
- Share your clips, photos, and session recaps
- Post spot discoveries and reviews
- Discuss gear setups, techniques, and progression
- Promote local skate events and jams
2. Respect Every Skater
The skate community has always been diverse and inclusive. Treat every member with respect, regardless of skill level, style, age, or background.
- No harassment, bullying, or targeted hate
- No discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or nationality
- Constructive criticism is welcome — being a jerk is not
- Beginners deserve encouragement, not ridicule
3. No Dangerous Content
Skating carries inherent risk — we get it. But some content crosses a line.
- Do not glorify or encourage reckless behavior that endangers others (pedestrians, drivers, etc.)
- Do not post content that promotes illegal activities beyond typical skate-related trespassing grey areas
- No content involving minors in unsafe situations
- No promotion of substance abuse
4. Authentic Content Only
Keep it real. The skate community values authenticity above all else.
- Only post content you created or have rights to share
- No spam, fake accounts, or bot activity
- Do not impersonate other skaters or public figures
- Credit other skaters when sharing their content with permission
5. Spot Etiquette
Spots are precious — protect them.
- Be mindful when sharing spot locations — some spots need protection from overexposure
- Do not post content that leads to spots being skate-stopped or shut down
- Respect private property and local regulations
- Leave spots cleaner than you found them
6. Privacy Matters
- Do not share other people's personal information without consent
- Do not post identifiable footage of minors without parental consent
- Respect when someone asks to be removed from a post
7. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Content removal
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account ban for severe or repeated violations
