Welcome to Land-It. By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use Land-It.

1. Eligibility

To use Land-It, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
  • Not have had a previous account terminated for violations of these Terms

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may only create one personal account
  • Your username must not impersonate any person or entity
  • We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that violate these Terms

3. User Conduct

You agree to comply with our Community Guidelines. Additionally, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Service without permission
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service
  • Circumvent any security or access control measures

4. Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and post on Land-It. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform and in connection with promoting Land-It.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to post the content and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

Our Content

The Land-It name, logo, design, and platform software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.

5. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines at our sole discretion. You may delete your own content at any time.

Certain content may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion. Content reported by other users will be reviewed and actioned according to our enforcement policies.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any content on the platform is accurate or reliable
  • Defects will be corrected

Skateboarding is inherently dangerous. We are not liable for any injuries that occur as a result of skating spots discovered or events organized through Land-It. Always skate within your ability and wear appropriate protective equipment.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAND-IT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
